He stated that the alignment with the key personnel’s, Environmentalist in the upper echelon is to help strengthen, boost and configure all executed, on-going and intending Environmental projects in Anambra state ministry of Environment
While discussing with the Hon. Minister of State Dr. Iziaq Kunle Salako. He outlined the Green Anambra Movement which centers on Waste recycling (Circular Economy) via The on-going All Anambra Communities Plastic Waste Recovery Challenge 2.0, Climate change mitigation and adaptation via Anambra tree-planting initiative, On-going Anambra Erosion works while soliciting for more help from the federal government and a lot more programmes on the pipeline geared towards the protection and conservation of the Environment
The Proactive Commissioner also brainstormed with Dr Abbas Suleiman. Dir. Environmental Impact Assessment departmentment on the way forward in strengthening the Anambra State Environmental Impact Assessment processes for optimum result in determining the potential environmental, social and health effects of a proposed project/development.
Dr Odimegwu affirmed that the responses from the different meeting is assuring and will yield massive transformation in Anambra State Environment Ecosystem.
