PSC Declares On Ongoing Police Recruitment That No Politician Is Entitled To Slot

The chairman of the Nigeria Police Service Commission (PSC), Solomon Arase, declared that no preferential treatment will be given to politicians in the ongoing recruitment process at the Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, Kano State.

According to information he passed, the commission will ensure a credible and open recruitment process for the recruitment process.

Ekweanaedo News reports that Arase stated this during a briefing to journalists following a visit to the Commandant and the Management staff of the academy on Tuesday.

“When we were setting up the recruitment board, we brought everybody on board. Under such a circumstance, it is very difficult for you to influence it.

“I can assure you that it is not shared by any politician”

Meanwhile, the Police Command in Anambra State has made a firm commitment to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the tragic demise of the Nanka Ward Chairman of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Orumba South Local Government Area.

In a terse statement on Tuesday, the state Police Commissioner, CP Aderemi Adeoye, expressed his strong disapproval of the heinous act; the CP denounced the killers as individuals lacking courage, as they have mercilessly taken away innocent lives.

“They might think that they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves,” Adeoye said, assuring that the police were already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.

He assured that justice will prevail and the culprits will face the consequences of their actions.
