The 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi has offered scholarships to all the children left behind by Mr. John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu who died recently.
The scholarship would enable them to study in any university of their choice. He also donated 5 million Naira each to the family.
Obi, however, encouraged all the family members to always live in peace and unity to enable them preserve the legacy of their father.
Some people who reacted from their X handle such as: @Syngar said “Reno has closed his eyes on this charitable gesture extended to late Ibu’s children by Peter Obi. A scholarship to study in any university of their choice abroad. If it were issue that has to do with character assassination he would have made it go viral.”
Another said @Blygn93 “We donated over 100million to Mr. Ibu, instead of the family to use the money for his health they instead started fighting over it.”
