Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer have taken home the top honors at the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) awards.
Foden, 24, was named the PFA men’s Player of the Year, while Palmer, 22, took home the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Foden had an incredible season, scoring 19 goals in 35 Premier League appearances and helping Manchester City win a historic fourth successive Premier League title.
He also became the youngest player to win six league titles at just 23 years old.
Palmer had a standout season as well, scoring 22 goals in 34 Premier League appearances in his first season with Chelsea.
He also earned a spot in the England squad for Euro 2024 and scored in the final.
This is the first time since the 2009-10 season that both men’s awards have gone to English players.
Foden and Palmer’s wins showcase the talented young players in the English football league.
