In line with Kaduna State Government’s commitment to deepening citizens participation in governance, Governor Sani held a Townhall Meeting on the 2024 – 2026 Multi-Year Budget at Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna today.
He used the well attended stakeholders meeting to interact with the people and gather their inputs into the 2024 – 2026 Multi-Year Budget of Kaduna State.
His statement reads, “We shall distil the collated suggestions, consider and incorporate them into the 2024 – 2026 Multi-Year Budget. The focus of our administration’s multi-year budget is on rural transformation. We are committed to revitalizing the rural economies through massive infrastructural development.
I will soon present the 2024 Budget of Kaduna State tagged “Budget of Rural Transformation for Inclusive Development.” The total budget proposed for the year 2024 is N458,271,299,477.66 (N458.3billion). 30% is for recurrent expenditure, while 70% is for capital expenditure”.
