The congratulatory message was conveyed by the Deputy National Convener of the Club, Hon. Onyebuchi Dike, in an interview with this reporter, Izunna Okafor, on Tuesday, November 25.
Made up of fans of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Soludo Fan Club is a viable support group founded by its National Convener and youngest Anambra Commissioner, Engr. Chukwuemeka, who is also a first class graduate of Engineering and Overall Best Graduating Student of the Anambra State University (now COOU) in 2014, with a Distinction in his M.Eng from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Dike, speaking on behalf of the Club, praised the Commissioner for what he called “his outstanding intellect, humility in service, administrative foresight, and unflinching loyalty to the Solution Movement.”
According to him, the celebration of Commissioner Chukwuemeka is not just about marking a date of birth, but about honouring the exceptional journey of a first-class mind who has consistently delivered first-class performance in his various spheres of life.
He emphasized that Commissioner Chukwuemeka, has demonstrated maturity, competence, and capacity far beyond his age, standing out as a shining model of youth excellence in public office.
Dike noted that Engr. Chukwuemeka has continued to inspire millions of young Anambra citizens and Nigerian youths at large, proving that quality leadership is not determined by age but by vision, intelligence, integrity, and disciplined hard work.
According to him, the Commissioner’s life embodies the very spirit of the Solution Agenda, as he has always shown innovation, pragmatism, and the audacity to deliver results.
The SFC Deputy Convener noted that the Commissioner, a first-class Engineering and an accomplished technocrat, has distinguished himself as one of the most effective drivers of Soludo’s dream to make Anambra a liveable and prosperous smart homeland. He further described him as as a rare blend of intellectual depth, administrative excellence, and grassroots connection.
Highlighting some Chukwuemeka’s achievements in the Ministry of Power and Water Resources under the Solution Government, Dike said the Commissioner has been at the forefront of groundbreaking reforms that are gradually transforming the power and water ecosystem in the state. According to him, under his leadership, the Ministry has driven the development and implementation of the Anambra Electricity Market Regulatory Framework following the passage of the state electricity law, placing Anambra among the pioneering Nigerian states to fully domesticate and operationalize electricity market regulation.
It was also under Commissioner Chukwuemeka that the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission (ASERC) was constituted and inaugurated, a move that triggered the official transfer of electricity regulatory oversight from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to the state, as permitted under the 2023 Electricity Act. This milestone, the SFC noted, has positioned Anambra as a future powerhouse for private-sector-led energy investments tailored to industrial expansion, economic growth, and improved public supply systems.
Hon. Dike further recalled that under the Commissioner’s watch, the state government advanced efforts toward decentralized power generation, renewable energy investments, and improved access to affordable power for underserved communities and business clusters across the 21 LGAs. He said Chukwuemeka has also strengthened the partnership framework between the state and private energy developers, laying a solid foundation for mini-grid development, industrial power supply corridors, and improved rural electrification.
In water resource sector, Dike commended the Commissioner for his instrumental role in reviving moribund and abandoned water schemes in Anambra state, as well as supporting the Governor’s aggressive push to restore potable water supply across Anambra’s urban and semi-urban areas. He noted that the reactivation and modernization of both small-town and major urban water facilities have helped expand reliable water access for households, businesses, and institutions, contributing significantly to Soludo’s livability vision.
He added that the Commissioner’s leadership has been vital in strengthening the institutional framework for water governance, expanding borehole rehabilitation projects, enhancing monitoring systems for water quality, and advancing public-private partnerships targeted at sustainable water provision.
In his words, these achievements are not just administrative milestones, but testimonies of the Commissioner’s brilliance, dedication, and alignment with the Governor’s vision.
“Commissioner Chukwuemeka understands the assignment, and he is not relenting,” he declared, further emphasizing that members of the Soludo Fan Club are highly proud to have him as their National Convener of the Soludo Fan Club.
He further reassured that SFC will continue to strengthen the bond between government and citizens, deepen public support for the Soludo Administration, and promote accurate information about ongoing governmental reforms and programs under the Solution Government.
On behalf of the Club, Dike prayed for God’s continued grace upon the Commissioner, wishing him good health, greater wisdom, sustained strength, and increased capacity to keep serving Ndi Anambra and Nigeria at higher levels. He reassured him of the Club’s solidarity and support, even as he continues to make youths, the Governor and Ndi Anambra at large proud.
