… Vow To Revitalize Agrarian Communities With Robust Infrastructures.
Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for the November 8, 2025, Anambra State election, alongside his running mate, Senator Dr. Uche Ekwunife, on Friday stormed Ebenebe in Awka North Local Government Area during a dynamic sensitization cum campaign rally.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd of farmers, artisans, community leaders, youths, and residents, Ukachukwu pledged to transform Awka North’s agrarian communities by prioritizing modern road infrastructure to boost agricultural productivity.
At the heart of his address, Ukachukwu highlighted Awka North’s critical role as an agricultural powerhouse in Anambra. “Awka North feeds our state, and we will empower its farmers by building good roads to ensure seamless transportation of agricultural products to markets,” he declared.
He emphasized that improved infrastructure would minimize post-harvest losses, enhance trade, and elevate the economic prospects of rural communities.
Joined by Senator Uche Ekwunife, his running mate, and APC state chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, Ukachukwu reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance under the APC’s progressive platform. Drawing on his extensive experience as a philanthropist and real estate magnate, he promised to leverage federal resources to drive development in Awka North. “Our mission is to uplift every farmer, trader, and youth in Awka North, transforming this region into a vibrant economic hub,” he affirmed.
Senator Ekwunife, addressing the vibrant gathering, called on residents to support Ukachukwu’s candidacy to defeat incumbent Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
“Prince Ukachukwu is a leader with the vision and capacity to deliver prosperity across Anambra. Together, we will build a state that prioritizes its people,” she stated, earning resounding applause from farmers, market women, and youth groups.
Chief Ejidike emphasized the APC’s grassroots strategy, declaring, “Awka North is pivotal to our victory. With Prince Ukachukwu and Senator Ekwunife leading the charge, Anambra is set for transformative leadership. ”The rally, part of Ukachukwu’s extensive campaign across Anambra’s 21 local government areas, builds on his commanding win in the APC primaries, where he secured 1,455 votes.
Ukachukwu’s vision for improved road networks, agricultural empowerment, and economic growth struck a chord with Awka North residents, who expressed strong support for his candidacy.
As the November election nears, the Ukachukwu-Ekwunife ticket continues to gain traction, positioning them as formidable contenders for Anambra’s Government House.
