Prof Orogbu Commissions ICT Studio, Commends Rotary Club’s Commitment To Education At JSS Kuchigoro

In a landmark event showcasing corporate social responsibility, the Rotary Club of Abuja Jabi Lakeside, under the leadership of District Governor Mike Ukachi Nwanoshiri, unveiled an ICT studio and awarded scholarships to indigent students of JSS Kuchigoro, Abuja.

The initiative, aimed at bridging the digital divide and enhancing educational opportunities, was formally commissioned by Prof. Lilian Oby Orogbu (Ada Di Ebube), the Member Representing Awka North & South Federal Constituency, and Chairman of the House Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Speaking at the commissioning, Prof. Orogbu emphasized the transformative impact of technology-driven education, noting that digital resources are essential for students to thrive in today’s world. She commended Rotary for their dedication to community empowerment through sustainable projects, reaffirming the role of corporate social responsibility in uplifting communities and promoting equitable access to quality education.

Encouraging students to take advantage of the studio and scholarships, she highlighted the importance of leveraging technology to drive academic and economic progress.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from students and school representatives, who lauded the Rotary Club for their unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and academic excellence.
