NANS Visits Metallurgical Training Institute, Onitsha

In a collaborative effort to promote the health and cleanliness of campuses within Anambra State, a delegation comprising the secretary General of NANS Zone F Comr. Felix Ifeyinwa Cynthia (Aluta Amazon), JCC Chairman Anambra State Comr. Nneke Chibuikem (Aluta Zeliot), and other NANS executives, paid a courtesy visit to the MD of Ocha Brigade, Comr. Celestine Anere.

Following discussions on the need to sensitize campuses on maintaining cleanliness for the well-being of students, an initiative led by Comr. Felix Ifeyinwa Cynthia, the team embarked on an investigative visit to the Metallurgical Training Institute in Onitsha on the 21st of November.

During the visit, the MD of Ocha Brigade, Comr. Engr. Celestine Anere, along with Comr. Felix Ifeyinwa Cynthia, Comr. Nneke Chibuikem, and NANS executives engaged in discussions with the SUG President, Comr. Ezeofor Chigozie.

The Director of metallurgical Training Institute Engr. Dr. F. U Obi warmly welcomed the delegation, expressing gratitude for their initiative and highlighting various issues faced by the institution.

In response, Comr. Engr. Celestine Anere assured the Metallurgical Training Institute of support, pledging to write to the governor on their behalf.

The MD commended Comr. Felix Ifeyinwa Cynthia for her relentless advocacy for students’ interests, hinting at the potential establishment of the Ocha Students Wing in the near future.

This collaborative effort aims to enhance the overall cleanliness and well-being of campuses within Anambra State.
