The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, paid a compassionate visit to one of our students who was recently involved in a road accident along the Extension Site road, by the hill.
During the hospital visit, the Rector expressed her heartfelt concern and words of encouragement to the student, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to the well-being of its students. In a gesture of empathy and support, she also offered a financial palliative to the student’s parents to assist with medical expenses.
The Polytechnic community stands in solidarity with the student and prays for a speedy and full recovery.
As a reminder, the rector urges all bike riders, Staff and students to exercise caution on the road. Avoid excessive speed and always prioritize safety. Your life is precious.
