On May 5, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presided over a significant Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting and the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Chairman and Commissioners of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) at the State House Council Chambers in Abuja.
The event marked a pivotal moment for the NASC, with Barrister El-Sudi Aminu Malle, representing the North East (TARABA STATE), among the distinguished Commissioners sworn in.
The ceremony, attended by top government officials, underscored President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening the administrative framework of Nigeria’s legislative arm, with the NASC tasked with overseeing staff welfare and operational efficiency under the National Assembly Service Act 2014.
The newly appointed Executive Chairman, has vowed to prioritize the welfare of National Assembly staff, emphasizing teamwork and excellence in his remarks. He described the 6th Commission as one “carrying grace,” urging members to work collaboratively to make it one of the most effective in the NASC’s history.
The inclusion of Honorable Commissioner Aminu Malle from the North East (TARABA STATE) reflects the Commission’s commitment to regional representation and diversity.
Malle, alongside other Commissioners, is expected to contribute to the NASC’s goals of improving staff conditions and legislative support services.
