Moghalu To LP Stakeholders And Party Executive: Choose Wisely On April 5th

Sharing is caring

The frontline governorship aspirant of the Labour Party (LP) in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra state, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, has urged party stakeholders and executive members to choose wisely, emphasizing that Anambra needs a person who truly has the state’s best interests at heart.

He made the assertion on Sunday, March 2, during his tour of Ihiala and Nnewi North local government areas, as part of his familiarization visit to party stalwarts ahead of the April 5 primary election.

Moghalu stressed that the November 8 governorship election demands a credible candidate who can unseat the incumbent. He confidently stated that he has the contact, reach, antecedents, and courage to unseat the incumbent, but acknowledged that he cannot achieve this alone.

He said, “November 8 governorship election in Anambra is very important because it requires removal of the incumbent. Come April 5, when our party will be conducting its primary election, we must feature a person who has what it takes to unseat the incumbent and win the governorship election for the party.”

Moghalu begged party stakeholders to trust him with their votes, assuring them that he has what it takes to win the November 8 election for the Labour Party.

Chairman of the party in Nnewi North LGA, Emeka Okeke, expressed his support for Moghalu, stating that delegates will not have any difficulty choosing a suitable candidate to unseat the APGA government.

Earlier in Ihiala LGA, Moghalu told party faithful gathered to receive him that they cannot afford to make any mistakes in choosing the candidate of LP come April 5. He assured that if given the mandate, he would not fail the party.

He said, “I have what it takes to unseat Soludo. Only what I demand is your cooperation and partnership to achieve this aim, because I cannot go the journey alone. You will always be my eyes.”

Labour Party stakeholders in Ihiala, who took their turns to eulogize Dr. Moghalu, urged support for him, saying that he has the capability to deliver results. They also told him not to be afraid, while promising to give him one hundred percent support as their own son.
