The Orumba South Council Mayor, Hon. Shedrack Azubuike alongside stakeholders paid a courtesy visit to Consular General, Ms. Jette Bjerumn in Lagos to seek collaboration in key sectors, including healthcare, agricultural development and many others.
During the visitation, Hon. Shedrack appreciated her for the support and reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Orumba South.
He said that the initiative will foster stronger ties between the council area and Denmark, opening doors for greater collaboration.
On healthcare, Mayor emphasised the council’s desire to improve its health sector and sought support for deployment of renewable energy solutions in health to enhance disease prevention and reduce maternal mortality rates.
Responding, Ms. Jette commended Hon. Azubuike for his visionary leadership and developmental strides in Orumba South. She assured him of her continued support in agriculture, healthcare, capacity development and many others.
