The Imo State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of a new leadership team for the Imo State Road Maintenance Agency (IROMA). This development, which underscores the Governor’s commitment to infrastructure development and maintenance, aims to ensure the effective management and rehabilitation of roads across the state.
According to a statement signed by the Honorable Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation, and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, the following individuals have been appointed as Chairman and members of IROMA:
- Barr. Kingsley Ononuju – Chairman
- Engr. Edwin Egbuka – Managing Director (MD)
- Barr. Chikodi Onyeanwuna – Secretary
- Dr. Emeka Enyinnaya – Member
- Engr. Ikenna Anyasodo – Member
- Harrison Amaechi Ejianya – Member
- Engr. Nwaobi Williams C. – Member
- Pascal Ojiaku – Member
This new team is expected to prioritize Governor Uzodimma’s 3R Mantra of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Recovery by addressing road infrastructure needs across urban and rural areas in Imo State. The Governor has reiterated his administration’s resolve to ensure the state’s road network supports economic growth, reduces travel time, and improves safety for all residents.
