In the spirit of the New Year and open-door representation, the Honourable Member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, received a group under the aegis of the Nkpor Non-Indigenes Association at his country home in Ojoto.
Chief Ochili, speaking on behalf of the group, thanked Hon. Okonkwo for his infrastructural development efforts in Nkpor and the business grants extended to non-indigenes in the area.
In his appreciation remarks, Hon. Okonkwo thanked the group for their visit and briefed them on his “Light Up Idemili” project, which has installed solar-powered streetlights at strategic locations in Nkpor. He also highlighted the ongoing construction of classrooms at UPS in Nkpor. Hon. Okonkwo assured the group that his representation is one of open-door policies and promised to ensure that all residents of Idemili benefit from the dividends of democracy.
