The Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Council, Chijioke C. Ozumba Esq. has on Tuesday commissioned five Borehole Water Supply Projects built in each of the five villages that make up Ukwulu community, in Dunukofia LGA.
The five water supply projects with overheard tanks each were single-handedly built by Chief Chinedu Nwadigwe, Okosisi Ukwulu (SIM Card Abogu).
Speaking during the commissioning, the Mayor said, that the projects will address the long-standing challenge of access to clean water within the community. He stated that, with this intervention by Okosisi Ukwulu, the villagers now have access to clean, potable drinking water, significantly enhancing their quality of life.
The Mayor commended Okosisi’s magnanimity and philanthropic works, asking God to keep blessing him more to be given to the people. He urged the well to do people in Ukwulu and Dunukofia in extension to emulate Chief Nwadigwe’s way of impacting lives, reminding them that there so many things needed in the society including: equipping of schools, restoration of power supply, fixing of roads and others.
He seized the opportunity to thank Pastor Ben Akabueze who has written his name in gold, Engr. Arthur Eze who has been the father of Dunukofia and Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo who is currently in the business developing all sectors in Anambra State governance and numerous others.
Chief Okosisi in his speech simply pleaded for prayers from the people to be able to do more. He assured the people of his continued efforts to address their infrastructural needs, urging them to remain supportive in the collective pursuit of greater development.
Expressing their appreciation, the leaders and residents of Ukwulu community eulogized Okosisi Ukwulu for his prompt response to their needs. They offered prayers for his continued success and for divine blessings in all his endeavors.
