The Mayor of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), earlier yesterday unveiled Idemili south healthy living garden at the council secretariat, Ojoto.
The healthy living garden was introduced by Anambra State First Lady, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo to all the 21 local government area in the state.
Hon. Obi said that the garden will features at least seven types of vegetables, stating that the garden will be able to provide healthy vegetables enough for many household.
Council Mayor said, the solution to any problem lies in everyone getting the solution, noting that the vegetables are medicinal and the garden is to lead by example for other council women to key into the vision of healthy living garden with Dr. Nonye Soludo. She urged women to get involved in farming to boost food production in the local government and Anambra State.
She further commended Anambra State First Lady, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo for his commitment towards the development of women and children in the state and also, promoting subsistence farming.
