The Commissioner for Education Anambra State, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has refuted the claims that the Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo closed down the schools in Nnewi. She reiterated that the Governor never at any time ordered that schools be closed down in Anambra State for any reason as was reported in some sections of the media.
Reacting to the media report that Soludo orders school closures, Commissioner Chuma-Udeh stated that normal school activities went on in Anambra State. “The media report which has it that Soludo Orders Schools Closure Amid Fears Of Violence At Senator Ubah’s Burial is untrue” Commissioner Chuma-Udeh said.
