Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, has congratulated former governor of the state Dame (Dr.) Virgy Etiaba on the occasion of her 81st birthday celebration”.
Dame Virgy Etiaba, CON, a native of Nnewi, was former Governor of Anambra State from November 2006 to February 2007, making her the first woman to serve as governor of a Nigerian state”.
Governor Soludo congratulated her on behalf of the state and its citizens, for reaching this milestone and for her dedicated service to our great state”.
The Governor further noted that birthdays are special moments to treasure the gift of life noting that her selfless commitment and contributions to public service in Anambra State remains commendable”.
