An Aide to former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has mocked Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu over his latest comments on President Bola Tinubu.
Kalu was quoted as saying that Tinubu drives around Abuja at night in a bid to understand the suffering of residents.
Describing Tinubu as a street person, Kalu said the President is aware of Nigeria’s fluttering economy.
“The President goes around with one or two cars and sees what is happening. He is not a President that is locked up in the room.”
Reacting, Atiku’s spokesman, Paul Ibe mocked Kalu in an X post, saying: “Yes, I saw Tinubu in Jabi garage last night. He came down from an armoured Keke NAPEP to buy kose and kunu. #TPain #ISightedTinubu #TalesByMoonlight.
On his part, Atiku’s Special Assistant, Phrank Shaibu, posted: “Guess even the big shots need their local street snack fix! #TinubuInTheStreets #KekeRoyalty”
