Nations Cup Qualifiers: Libya Vows To Beat Nigeria

Ahead of Nations cup qualifier between Nigeria and Libya on Friday, Libya’s National football team captain Feisal Al-Badri has boasted that his team are in Uyo to beat the Super Eagles.

The Super Eagles are overwhelming favourites to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group D encounter.

Nasser Al-Hadiri’s side are yet to win a game in the qualifying series.

Al-Badri stated that the North Africans are looking to win their first game against the Super Eagles.

“We’re here to win,” he told a press conference in Uyo on Thursday.

“We know we’re up against the strongest team in Africa, but we came here to win.”

Libya head coach Nasser Al-Hadiri said his team will give their all to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Mediterranean Knights must beat the Super Eagles to revive their chances of claiming a place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The North Africans have one point from two games in Group D.

Al-Hadiri declared that they will try their best to secure maximum points in the game.
