In a bid to empower future generations through education, renowned philanthropist Sir CC Onyeze has inaugurated a major humanitarian outreach program, focused on bridging educational gaps in underserved communities. The initiative, launched under the banner of the CC Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, was held at Kings and Queens Christ Academy and attracted a diverse audience, including educators, community leaders, parents, and students.
The program, which sponsored free holiday lessons for students in nursery, primary, and secondary school levels, was designed to provide educational support to children who might otherwise struggle to access quality resources. At the conclusion of the lessons, Sir Onyeze distributed essential school materials such as school bags and exercise books, ensuring the students were equipped for the new academic year.
During the event on September 7, 2024, attendees were treated to an array of cultural performances, including traditional dances and a drama presentation, adding a festive atmosphere to the philanthropic effort. In his speech, delivered by the Director General of the CC Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, Hon.
