…As He Attends Annual Women August Conference.
The Idemili North local government candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), Hon. Chief Stanley Nkwoka(Ochendo), on Saturday, 31st August, 2024, attended Nkpor Women Annual Convention at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church field, Nkpor-Uno in Idemili North, Anambra State.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Nkwoka commended them for their efforts towards the development of Idemili North and Anambra, stating that his administration will prioritize the inclusion and empowerment of women in the council area to ensure gender inclusiveness which is crucial for development and progress.
While assuring his commitment to make life better for the people in the council area, he added that Governor Charles Soludo CFR. and his wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo had been empowering women and youths through different Initiatives and he will always complement the effort of Mr. Governor at grassroot level.
Responding, the women leader of the group, Mrs Chinelo Ikezue appreciated Hon. Nkwoka for his commitment to the progress of women in the council area, stating that his few months as the Transition Committee Chairman is commendable.
The meeting was attended by stakeholders in the community, including Igwe-in-council.
