Nigerian international music star, Rema, has donated N150 million to Christ Embassy Church in Benin City, Edo State.
The donation was made during a thanksgiving service at the church’s regional headquarters.
Rema, who was born in Edo State, expressed his gratitude to the church for supporting his family during a difficult period in his childhood.
He recounted how the church helped his mother after his father’s death when he was just eight years old.
The musician pledged N40 million towards the church’s infrastructural development, N20 million to the Rhapsody of Realities publication, and N25 million to the teen church. Additionally, he donated N20 million to support widows in attendance.
Rema’s generous donation is a testament to his appreciation for the church’s role in his life and his desire to give back to the community.
