The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi, has commended Anambra First Lady, Mrs Nonye Soludo on her impact to the progress of women, education and health in the state.
She made the commendation during the second Anambra Women Health Summit and distribution of items to schools that won in the competition of healthy living seedlings/Garden competition organized by Healthy Living Initiative, stating that the competition was an encouragement for the students to read and learn more.
Speaking further, Hon. Obi said that, Mrs Soludo through the healthy living has empowered alot of women, youths and encouraged students in the state, saying that embracing healthy living is the best option in this critical period of Fall and Die.
Hon. Obi also appreciated Commissioner for Health, Hon. Dr. Afam Obidike who is also the state coordinator of Healthy Living Initiative for his commitment to the development of health sector in the state.
While applauding women for their massive support to Anambra State Government, she added that teachers sacrifice alot for the progress of the students and they should always be encouraged.
