The son of the late Sarkin Gobir of Gatawa District, Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa, has made a shocking accusation against a sitting member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Boza.
According to the son, Boza was involved in the plot to abduct and kill his father, who was taken by bandits and later murdered.
The son, who is currently receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the abduction, claimed that the bandits revealed Boza’s involvement in the plot.
They allegedly told him that Boza provided them with crucial information and paid them N5 million to carry out the kidnapping.
Boza, who represents Sabon Birnin Gobir in the Sokoto State Assembly, has denied the allegations.
In a viral audio, he stated that he is not involved in any criminal activities or associated with the bandits. He emphasized his commitment to fighting against banditry and called for increased security presence in affected areas.
