President Bola Tinubu will depart for France on Monday, August 19, 2024, according to a statement from the presidency.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed the trip on Sunday, but did not disclose the purpose of the visit.
This trip comes just two days after President Tinubu returned from a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea, where he met with President Teodoro Mbasogo and signed agreements on oil, gas, and security.
The president’s trip to France marks his second international visit in less than a week, sparking speculation about the purpose of the visit.
