English Premier League club Brentford has completed the signing of Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool in a deal worth £27.5 million, including add-ons.
The 21-year-old Portuguese winger has agreed to a five-year contract with the option for a further year.
The deal includes a 17.5% sell-on clause for Liverpool, while Fulham will receive 20% of the profit from Carvalho’s transfer.
Carvalho’s move to Brentford marks the end of his time at Liverpool, where he struggled to establish himself since joining from Fulham in 2022.
He spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig and Hull City, scoring nine goals in 20 appearances for the Tigers.
Brentford beat off competition from Southampton, who had a £15 million bid rejected by Liverpool earlier in the transfer window.
