Ekpa Warns Emeka Anyaoku Against Sabotaging Biafra Independence

Sharing is caring

The Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, Ekpa, has warned former Commonwealth Secretary-General Emeka Anyaoku not to sabotage the actualization of Biafra independence.

In a statement on his official X handle on Saturday, Ekpa cautioned Anyaoku against allowing himself to be used as a pawn against Biafra’s agitation for self-rule.

This comes after Anyaoku led a group of Nigerian elder statesmen, the Patriot, to visit President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Friday, where he advocated for changes to Nigeria’s Constitution.

Ekpa criticized Anyaoku for his silence in the face of marginalization and killings of Biafrans in the South-East and South-South, saying he had never condemned the killings.

Ekpa warned Anyaoku to stay away from anything that could sabotage Biafra’s freedom, stating that they would not hesitate to call upon the gods to take action if necessary.

The warning comes as the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile continues to push for independence, citing years of marginalization and oppression.
