The Take It Back Movement, a key organizer of the EndBadGovernance nationwide protest, has announced plans for a one-million-man protest in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Saturday.
According to Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, National Coordinator of the movement, the protest will mark a critical juncture in the nationwide campaign, which began on August 1.
Despite initial plans for a 10-day protest, the movement has evolved into a sustained and widespread campaign, drawing participants from across Nigeria and the diaspora.
The protest aims to draw attention to the hardships faced by Nigerians and has already recorded large turnouts across the country, particularly in northern states.
Notably, the protest has continued despite being hijacked by criminal elements and President Bola Tinubu’s appeal for protesters to back down and give his administration more time.
The protest is expected to culminate on Saturday, August 10, with organizers vowing to press on with their demands for change.
