In commemoration of the 2024 World Youth Skills Day, The Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike, hosted The Aguata Skilled Youths Luncheon.
The event featured transformative sessions facilitated by successful young skilled entrepreneurs and professionals.
The forty skilled youth beneficiaries were exposed to the how best to develop and expand their crafts. Aside treating them to a Lunch, The Transition Committee Chairman presented to each of them a support grant of One Hundred Thousand Naira only (N100,000.00) to encourage them to keep striving legitimately.
Remarkably, The Local Government is expressing concern to a class of people whose efforts to survive are neglected.
It is hoped that the beneficiaries will grow, blossom and contribute to the efforts towards transforming our society.
