The Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon Stanley Nkwoka has called for collective efforts towards friendly environment and progressive society.
Nkwoka while assuming office at the council headquarters in Ogidi said his focus would be towards reclaiming the environment through robust advocacy for residents to maintain clean environment and also be responsible citizens.
While addressing management of the council and contractors of Waste Management and the department of Sanitation and Environment in the local government, he promised to work well with ASHWAMA to make sure that Idemili North maintains a clean, green and livable environment.
He said he would not waste time to start working earnestly to move the council forward and promised that his administration will work with the mandate of Solution Governor’s vision.
Earlier in his speech during the official handover, The Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA, Chief Emeka Achukwu thanked the council chairman for his positive programme.
Chief Emeka Asimone thanked The Council Chairman for finding out time to meet with them especially the Waste Management Team of the council to know the challenges facing them, among others.
