Ohaozara, Ebonyi State – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ohaozara LGA has reaffirmed its commitment to the party, demonstrating uncommon solidarity amidst supporters during The State APC Rally held in Ohaozara.
The event, which took place yesterday, saw party leaders and stakeholders gathered to show support for the APC and its candidates in the forthcoming Chairmanship and Councillorship election.
Chief Deacon Austin Umahi, Chairman of the event and Director-General of Divine Mandate Campaign, represented by Hon Chief Onu Nwonye emphasized Ohaozara’s unwavering support for APC, stating that the LGA will vote massively for the party and its candidates come July 20th, 2024.
“The people of Ohaozara have made it clear that they will stand by the APC and its candidates in the forthcoming election,” Chief Umahi said. “We are confident that our candidates will emerge victorious, and we will continue to work together to build a better future for our people.”
Speaking, The Commissioner For Housing, Hon Francis Ori, commended the party for its meticulous primary election process, which resulted in the choice of Hon Chinonso Consider as the APC Chairmanship Candidate, as he noted that the people of Ohaozara are very happy with him.
“The primary election was a testament to the party’s commitment to democracy and the will of the people,” Hon Ori said. “We are proud to have Hon Consider as our candidate, and we are confident that he will lead our LGA to greater heights.”
Other speaker include the former National Assembly and the President General, Ohanivo General Assembly, Rt Hon Darlington Okereke.
APC State Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, praised the people of Ohaozara for re-electing Hon Consider, describing him as a true leader with extraordinary achievements.
“Hon Consider has shown himself to be a leader of extraordinary strides, and we are proud to have him as our candidate,” Chief Emegha said. “We are confident that he will continue to work for the people of Ohaozara and lead our LGA to greater heights.”
His Excellency, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, thanked the people of Ohaozara for their selfless support and solidarity, urging the APC Chairmanship candidate to continue his good work and run an all-inclusive government.
“We are grateful for the support of the people of Ohaozara, and we urge our candidate to continue his good work,” His Excellency said. “We also urge him to run an all-inclusive government, bringing on board those who contested with him during the primaries as part of his campaign team and government.”
The rally reaffirmed Ohaozara’s position as a stronghold for APC, with party leaders and stakeholders expressing confidence in their candidates’ victory in the forthcoming election.
