Anambra First Lady, To Distribute 500 Packs Of Hybrid Seeds To Mark Her Birthday

Anambra First Lady, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has announced plans to distribute hybrid seeds to about five hundred persons in the state to start up their home gardens.


Mrs Soludo, who broke the news on Friday on her official social media, said that the aim is to encourage people to adopt home gardens as a means of food sufficiency and healthy living.

She said that she would be giving out hybrid seeds every week through the month of July, covering five hundred households across the state and beyond.

The governor’s wife wrote that to benefit from the gesture, each participant must show appreciable desire to owning a garden and must agree to adhere to our rules on purely organic cultivation methods.

She added that the person must be willing to send us routine visual proofs of the garden’s development stages until the harvesting period.

The Anambra first lady who is also the founder of the non-governmental crusade, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, stated that einners would be announced on her social media handles and on other affiliated platforms every weekend until the end of July.

She added that each winner would be directly contacted and have their packages sent to their locations, only within Anambra State, while starters, can watch video lessons from the preliminary stages of her Healthy Living Exhibition Garden and other more videos to be uploaded on her handles to help their whole journey.

The governor’s wife whose birthday comes up on July, 31, 2024, added seeing each garden doing well across all the benefiting households would give her every sense of celebration that any birthday could present, and asked those who would be benefiting to carry out the task with dedication and excellence.
