Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, The Member Representing Idemili North And South Federal Constituency, has Commiserated with the victims of the recent fire incident at Afor, Nnobi. The devastating fire destroyed goods and shops worth millions, leaving many business owners in distress.
While thanking God for the fortunate absence of any loss of life, Hon. Okonkwo called on the Anambra state government to take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future. He urged the government to provide adequate safety measures to protect the lives and properties of the people.
“I commiserate with the victims of the fire incident at Afor, Nnobi. I am thankful that no life was lost, but I am deeply concerned about the destruction of properties and livelihoods,” Hon. Okonkwo stated.
Furthermore, Hon. Okonkwo pledged to work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that the victims receive necessary support and assistance to rebuild their businesses and lives. He also called on the community to come together and support those affected by the fire incident.
