All is now set for the final of the UEFA Champions League between Spanish giants Real Madrid and German side Borussia Dortmund on Saturday night at England’s National Stadium, Wembley.
The two sides have won the trophy before now with Madrid the record holders with 14 titles while Dortmund will be aiming to win their second title following their victory in 1997 in Munich beating Juventus 3-1 in the final
Dortmund were also in the final in 2013 but lost to fellow German side Bayern Munich at Wembley. That was their last appearance at the finals.
Tonight the odds are against them just as it was in 1997 and 2013 but like experts will say , this is football and it is not over until it is over.
Few moments ago the trophy arrived Wembley venue of tonight’s final and in just under two and a half hours the final of Europe’s most prestigious Club competition will begin.
