About five persons have been reportedly injured in an accident that occurred around the Redemption Camp area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when a vehicle allegedly belonging to ADRON Homes and Properties somersaulted due to the unfortunate explosion of the vehicle’s tyre.

An eyewitness identified simply as Quadri disclosed this to news correspondents.

According to Quadri, the tyre of the white Toyota Hummer bus exploded on motion leading the vehicle to topple over. He also noted that some sympathizers rallied round immediately to help the injured victims while pamphlets of the company scattered all over the highway.

Mr Quadri went further to say, “I was in a vehicle when the bus sped off beside us. As it was in motion, the tyre exploded, leading the bus to somersault before finally stopping with its side on the ground.

“The pamphlets which I think belong to the ADRON Homes and Properties, scattered on the expressway while sympathisers gathered to assist the injured victims.”

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident, but said no life was lost.

“I can confirm the accident. No lives were lost, and we have driven the vehicle out,” she said.
