Former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has told President Bola Tinubu to call the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike to order.

This is following a fresh threat of impeachment against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, issued by members of the State Assembly led by Marthin Amaewhule.

Eze, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC,  asked Tinubu “to prevail on Wike to curtail the excesses of the 27 lawmakers,” who he described “as the minister’s foot soldiers.”

Eze said it was necessary at this point that Tinubu “calls Wike to order to save the situation of a possible breakdown of democratic institutions by the lawmakers” who, according to him, “are taking orders and prohibitions from the Minister.”

Governor Fubara had during the week publicly stated that some Local Government chairmen in the state are showing him some levels of disrespect and told them that they are digging their own grave

The governor has been at loggerheads with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory over control of the party structure in the state
