Fubara: Call Wike To Order, Clark Tells Tinubu

Following the political crisis rocking Rivers State over the plot to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara, elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, has asked President Bola Tinubu to call the mister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to order.

Speaking to J            journalists On Monday In Abuja, Clark, a leader of the South-South regional group, the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), said Wike is responsible for the crisis rocking the Rivers State House of Assembly

The elder statesman added that Wike should give peace a chance in Rivers State and face his job as Minister of the FCT after ruling the oil-rich state as a governor for eight years.

Ekwe Anaedo reports that confusion rocked the Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday as the lawmakers launched an impeachment proceeding against Fubara.

Earlier on Sunday night explosive devices were thrown into the State House of Assembly burning some parts of the complex

The House also removed its leader, Edison Ehie for alleged supervision of the burning of the Assembly Complex on Sunday night.

The governor is accused of acts of gross misconduct unbecoming of his office.
