The Special Intelligence Squad (SIS) of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi has raided an illegal refinery site in Abia State. NSCDC in a tweet on its X official said they raided the illegal bunkering site located at Ubeaku Waterside in Ukwa East Local Government Area of the state.
The Commandant’s Special Intelligence Squad during the raid destroyed cooking pots, tanks and drums.
The statement by the agency has it that over 22,000 liters of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) were destroyed in the raid. NSCDC Special Intelligence Squad also uncovered and raided massive illegal oil bunkering sites where they arrested 5 suspects in Rivers State as well.
