Imo Lawyers from Orlu Zone have called the state Government as well as the Chief Judge of the State to consider with immediate effect, returning the High Court to Orlu as peace has gradually returned in the area.
The Orlu High Court was relocated to Owerri during the hit of insecurity in the area which led to setting ablaze the Court by yet to be identified persons.
Some of the Litigants who anonymously spoke on the guise of anonymity however appealed to appropriate authorities to consider relocating back, the Orlu High Court to its base after lamenting over what they described as exorbitant charges lawyers demand from them to do their matters in Owerri Courts.
Speaking to Lead,a lawyer who identified himself as Barr Okwute expressed gratitude to God as peace has gradually returned to Orlu however called on the appropriate authorities to hasten up in returning the Courts at Orlu pointing out that Owerri Courts are now congested which according to him does not encourage speed in adjudication.
It would be recalled that peace has gradually returned in Orlu LGA and its environs as killings amongst Other anti development activities have stopped in the area.
Imo Commissioner for Police, Aboki Danjuma had a few days ago, urged the people of Orsu LGA to go about their legitimate businesses after patrolling the area in the company of sister security agents.
