The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Honourable Chris Obiorah commissioned and reactivated moribund UNICEF-assisted solar powered borehole projects at Ebeleogo Umudim, Nnewi.
Recently Hon Obiorah commissioned a similar project at Obi Ezekwebelu, Eziabubor, Nnewichi, Nnewi.
The moribund UNICEF assisted solar powered borehole has been in bad shape for years resulting to lack of easy access to good water for the people.
Moreover while performing the exercise, Engr Obiorah, maintained his resolve to mainstream the solution agenda of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Nnewi and encouraged the people to continue supporting Governor Soludo.
He however assured, that his leadership will not deviate from the livable and prosperous Anambra agenda and providing dividends of democracy to the populace in Nnewi North”. Engr Chris noted.
He appreciated Governor Soludo for providing the enablement and opportunity to serve Ndi Nnewi North promising to deliver more projects meant for the good of the common man.
In their separate remarks, Obi of Umudim, Obi Bennet Okafor, Obi Nnewichi, Obi George Oyekaba, commended Governor Soludo for his tireless efforts in making Anambra livable and prosperous.
Noting that Nnewi is feeling the effect of Governor Soludo’s led administration, the community leaders assured their unalloyed support and that of Ndi Nnewi.
Present at event were; The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Hon Amala Anazodo, Head of Local Government Administration, Nnewi North Local Government Area, Engr Valentine Onuora, HOD works, Engr John Onuchukwu, other major stakeholders in Nnewi, transition committee members, and APGA faithful, among others.
