A student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, identified as Chioma, has allegedly poured hot water on the president of her hostel, identified as Mark over disagreement on sanitation of hostel.
A Facebook source, Valentine Mbadugha, said the female student also stabbed him, however Mark had been taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
The disagreement between both students was said to have started over sanitation on school hostel where both of them lived.
The incident occurred on Saturday, 17th February 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka.
Chioma was said to have reacted violently when Mark reminded her of her duty to join others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean.
The state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga has no details as at the time of filing this report.
