Hon Peter Uzokwe, Member Representing, (Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency) And Hon Chinwe Nnabuife (Orumba North And South Federal Constituency), the Winners of the just concluded 2024 National Assembly Rerun Elections in Anambra State, of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), on Thursday, February 8, 2024, took their oaths of office at the Chambers of the House of Representatives.
Addressing newsmen after the ceremony, Hon Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, Member Representing Orumba North and Orumba South Federal Constituency described her victory at the Rerun Election as a confirmation of the close relationship she has with her constituents. Hon Nnabuife also appreciated the electorates for maintaining their confidence in her and assured them that she would devote her time to activities that would promote their wellbeing.
Hon Peter Uzokwe, The Member Representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, In his own remarks, appreciated his constituents for believing in him and his party, YPP. Hon Uzokwe further appreciated, them for standing firm with him during the political and legal battles, and assured them that he would partner with relevant authorities to ensure that their interests are always protected.
The Senator Representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, congratulated the two Honourable Members whose constituencies are within his Senatorial District for emerging victorious in the political and legal battles.
Senator Ubah also appreciated their constituents for participating effectively in the electoral process and reassured the people of Anambra South Senatorial District, that he would always partner with relevant authorities and stakeholders regardless of their political parties to promote their wellbeing.
The Anambra South Senatorial District Senator Ifeanyi also, urged Princess Nnabuife and Hon Uzokwe to remain focused and promised to give them every needed support that would assist them in representing their constituents effectively.
