The Chief of Staff to Governor Soludo, Mr. Ernest Nnaama Ezeajughi and a team of government-appointees, conducted a comprehensive inspection of road construction projects of the present Anambra State Government across Orumba North and Orumba South Local Government Areas.
The inspection team, comprising of engineering experts, government representatives, and project management specialists, embarked on a series of site visits to assess the progress and quality of road construction projects within Orumba.
The inspection team also interacted with the local communities in Amansea, Ezinato, Ndiukwuenu, Awa,Ufuma ,Ajalli, Umueji Ufuma, Ogbunka, Nawfija, Eziagu, Ezira and Umuomaku Communities, to gauge their perspectives on the ongoing construction activities.
During the exercise, the team also visited the traditional ruler of Eziagu Community in Orumba South LGA, H.R.H. Igwe Sir Benard Emejuo; the Ebube Agu 1 of Eziagu. The traditional ruler expressed great gratitude and proud of out his royal blessings on the Governor and the team lead by the Chief of Staff while praying with kola nuts. He recommended that such coordinated inspection should be Carried out from time to time to persuade the contractors to be on their toes even more.
Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, commended Ndi Eziagu for taking ownership of the road construction that is going on in their town and the axis in a very special and committed manner, by forming their internal committee to attend to anything during the road construction as the need arises.
The Chief of Staff, who is also a worthy and illustrious son of Orumba also took time at many sites to correct the people against the dumping of refuse in the drainages so as to make the roads last up to it’s expected lifespan.
Their smooth relationship, with the Construction Company and Staff that is undertaking the job have manifested in the huge progress so far recorded in the construction going on in that axis.
Hon Prince. Neville S. Uchendu, The Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, appreciated the Igwe on his contributions to his administration as the Chairman of Orumba South traditional council, encouraged him to keep on doing his best with other Ndi Igwe to see that the communities are peaceful and livable.
Dr Foster Ihejiofor the Commissioner for Agriculture, in his remarks, kept on appreciating Prof Soludo for his many unprecedented achievements in Anambra State in less than two years.
However, at Nawfija, people the appreciated the good works of the Governor of Anambra state.
