Manchester United In Search Of First Win As Champions League Match Day Three Takes Center Stage

Match day three in the UEFA Champions League will resume Tuesday and Wednesday with some mouthwatering fixtures

On Tuesday Manchester United will be hoping to kick start their campaign after losing their first two games in the group. United are home to FC Copenhagen in a must win game while leaders Bayern Munich of Germany will be away to Galatasaray

United had the perfect rehearsal after overcoming Sheffield United in the domestic league 2-1on Saturday night and on the basis of that performance they might get all three points against the Danish side

Arsenal which fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to French side Lens will travel to Spain to face Sevilla, the Gunners are second on the log with three points from two games while their conquerors in their last fixtures Lens are top with four points will play PSV Eindhoven

In Group C, runaway leaders Real Madrid will Travel to Portugal to play Sporting Braga and second placed Napoli will also be on the road to Germany to keep a date with FC Union Berlin

Another Spanish side Real Sociedad are top of group D with four points from two games, same as Inter Milan but enjoy superior goal difference. Sociedad will battle Benfica of Portugal and Inter Milan welcome Red Bull Salzburg

Attention will shift to Groups E,F,G and H on Wednesday. Group E leaders Atletico Madrid will play bottom placed side Celtic who like Manchester United have lost their opening two games in the campaign. Feyenoord and Lazio will meet on Wednesday night  

Surprise team Newcastle United who caused a stir last time out with a 4-1 hammering of PSG will be at home to German side Borussia Dortmund in a top versus bottom placed teams fixture. Second placed PSG will battle AC Milan who are third with two points from two games 

Defending Champions Manchester City lead group G with six points from two games and will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce when they take on Young Boys of Switzerland. Second placed RB Leipzig will host Red Star Belgrade

Spanish giants Barcelona have put behind them their poor form in Europe last season with two wins against FC Porto and Royal Antwerp in their opening two fixtures. On Wednesday night the Catalans will welcome Shakhtar Donestsk while Royal Antwerp will look to improve their fortunes as they entertain FC Porto
