Two more countries will qualify for the quarter final of the Cup of Nations joining Angola and Nigeria. Both qualified on Saturday.
The two that will join Angola and Nigeria are either Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Conakry, Egypt and DR Congo
The four nations will lock horns today in a round of 16 fixtures as the competition gradually winds down
Equatorial Guinea who finished as Group A winners a group comprising Nigeria and host Cote D’Ivoire will entertain Guinea who finished third in Group C behind Cameroun and defending champion Senegal. Senegal the only team in the competition to win all their three group matches
In the other last 16 fixtures Egypt who finished second in Group B and are yet to record a win in the competition will take on DR Congo another team without a win in the competition too. DRC finished second in Group F with three points drawing all their three group matches like Egypt.
Meanwhile the winner in the Equatorial Guinea versus Guinea will take on either Egypt or DR Congo in the quarter final
