Kaduna State Governor Meets National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons

Kaduna state government welcomed the National Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), Alhaji Aliyu Tijani Ahmed, and his team for an audience at the Governor’s Office.

During the meeting, they discussed the recent Tudun Biri military drone attack and the measures taken by the Kaduna State Government to restore peace and provide assistance to the affected individuals and families.

In his remarks, Alhaji Aliyu Tijani Ahmed, the National Commissioner of NCFRMI, expressed his condolences to the Government and People of Kaduna State for the unfortunate incident. He commended the State Government for its swift and decisive action in calming the situation and providing relief to the injured and families of the victims. The National Commissioner also acknowledged the assistance rendered by the Commission to the people of Tudun Biri.

They Governor then expressed his gratitude to the National Commissioner and the entire management of the Commission for their support and assistance to the people of Tudun Biri.

He commended the Commission for their dedicated efforts in restoring the dignity of vulnerable individuals, rebuilding the lives of internally displaced persons, and instilling hope for a brighter future.

He reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Kaduna State Government to restoring peace and security in our troubled communities, with the ultimate goal of enabling displaced persons to return to their original homes.

The meeting served as a platform for fruitful discussions on the ongoing efforts to provide relief and assistance to those affected by the Tudun Biri incident.

It highlighted the collaborative approach between the Kaduna State Government and the NCFRMI in addressing the challenges faced by internally displaced persons and vulnerable populations.

Both parties expressed their commitment to working together to ensure the well-being and welfare of those affected and to create an environment conducive to their safe return.

“The Kaduna State Government remains steadfast in its determination to restore peace and security in the state and to support the affected individuals and communities in their journey towards recovery and rebuilding.

Together with the NCFRMI, we will continue to work tirelessly to provide the necessary support and assistance to those in need, ensuring that their rights and dignity are upheld”, Governor Sani reiterated.
