On the occasion of World Teachers Day 2024, Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Sir Ifeatu Obiokoye, has extended heartfelt congratulations to teachers for their unwavering dedication, selfless sacrifices, and unrelenting commitment to enhancing the state’s education sector, despite inherent challenges.
Chief Obi-Okoye emphasized APGA’s profound appreciation for the pivotal role teachers play in shaping future leaders, professionals, and administrators, underscoring their indispensable contribution to national development.
He commended teachers for supporting Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s vision for world-class education standards in all public and private schools.
The Chairman highlighted the Governor’s initiatives, including the recruitment of 5,000 teachers and with additional 3,000, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing teacher welfare and working conditions.
