A Wheel Barrow Pusher Lost His Life after He Was involved in a road accident while running away from revenue collectors
The incident happened opposite New Autospare Parts Market Nkpor, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to an eyewitness, the barrow pusher whose name was given as Mr Kingsley Orjiako, was running away from a revenue collector he saw along the road when a Keke Driver trying to reverse to the other side of the road hits him and he fell under a moving tipper.
EkweAnaedo gathered that the driver of the tipper and the Keke Driver ran away when they saw that the man was dead.
Speaking to the Journalist, The Caretaker Chairman of New Autospare Parts Market Nkpor, Chief Stephen Oforleh wondered why people find it difficult to adhere to State Government directives who has since stopped revenue collections from barrow pushers and petty trades.
The Chairman said he immediately contacted the Nigeria police and other relevant agencies to come to the scene of the incident “.
